Hey there, how are you? Welcome to another episode of the Teach Your Easy podcast with Catherine Storing. And you guessed it, I’m Catherine Storing. And yes, I am driving. Oh, don’t worry I’m being super-duper safe. I cannot wait to go back to my office to talk to you about this. As a kingdom preneur, you have to be aware that emergencies will come up. It is the world that we live in, the Bible actually says “that in this world, we will have afflictions”, and that’s just the nature of the beast, we are going to have afflictions, we are going to have emergencies, we are going to have things not go our way.

But one thing that I love about the word is that it is alive and well in that it comes up when we need it. And it’s so funny how you know the Bible says in Proverbs that instruct the child in the way that he shall go and even when he’s older, he will not depart from it. Well, I can testify to you that it is absolutely the truth. Because as a child, I heard this I don’t know when. But I heard in Spanish, I have never forgotten it. And I’m going to tell it to you in Spanish and try to translate my best. This is what he says. No como el mundo la da sino como yo la doy. And that was Jesus speaking about peace. He said I gave I’m going to leave you my peace. And not like the world gives it, I’m going to give it to you like only I can give it to you.

And that thing hit me so awesomely like, it was perfect because I was having a conversation with someone. And they were having a relatively stressful conversation, it was a random conversation like they were not expecting it. And they allowed themselves to be rattled by somebody else’s rush, they allowed somebody else to steal their peace. And when you haven’t been business for more than a hot minute, you know, that they are.

When you have a business, like I was saying I was rudely interrupted by a phone call, when you have a business, they are things that are gonna go differently than you want. They are things are going to be delayed. They are going to be shipments that don’t show up, they’re going to be accounts that are going to be passed due, they’re going to be clients that are going to be less than ideal. But I want you and I want you to remember that everything happens as it should. God is sovereign over your business, especially if it’s a kingdom business. If it is a faith-based business, God is in control. So, any delay, any closed door, any non quote-unquote, nonsense. I want you to know that God is sovereign, and he is over everything that concerns you. Because he is concerned with everything that happens or doesn’t happen to you.

I want you to hear that really, really well. God is concerned with E V E R Y THING that concerns you. He knows; he cares, he is in control, he knows what is happening. And in your kingdom business, since you have given it to him. Since you have put in your business at his feet, let me tell you that he is concerned with you. That he knows exactly what’s happening.

As long as you give him glory. As long as you use YOUR gifts and talents to bring Him glory and to further the kingdom, honey child, he is gonna take care of you. He’s gonna make sure that everything works out for your good, as he says in Genesis, that they meant it for evil, you meant it for evil by the Lord, the Lord meant it for good. So, I want you to remember that especially when things don’t go according to plan. When you think that you have been slighted when you think that someone has put one over you or tried. When you think that you haven’t gotten your fair shake, I want you to know that God is in control, I want you to know that he loves you like nobody else. And if he allows something, if he allows for things to go differently than what you think is your best, I want you to know that he knows what’s best for you. And he’ll twist it, he’ll extend it, he’ll move it around, he’ll shake it until he falls exactly as he should for your good for your maximum good. So, hold on to his peace, my friend, don’t you give it to nobody, don’t allow anyone to rattle you.

One of my favorite movies is called Sabrina it is the remake. I like the remake better with the amazing Harrison Ford and Julia Ormond who’s an amazing actress. And there was a point in the movie when Harrison Ford is being pressured from at least three different angles at the same time. And he will his character was so cool and collected. And he kept saying in a minute. And then somebody else came and they had this rush in their voice and they were just not happy. And he would say in a minute. And then but he didn’t say in a minute, he would say it in a minute. I love that. And then the third person came, and they were just equally aggravated with him and the situation.

And he would just say in a minute, when the next person came that gave him the nod that they could start the meeting, he began the meeting, cool and collected, he began the meeting when he knew that he can share the information that he was going to be upsetting. But he was going to do it on his time, the way that he the way he wanted to do it. And at the time he wanted to do it and that that scene plays in my mind over and over again, I want you to tell whatever situation wants to come at you, whatever thing that you think that is gonna is trying to rob you of your peace, I want you to say in a minute. I gotta talk to my board. There’s somebody that was in my life briefly and he used to say that.

His board Father; the Son and the Holy Spirit where his board for his business and his ministry. And I kind of stole that because he was pretty awesome. And I believe that is the case. So you’re going to say to that situation, with that person, “Hold on a second”, let me refer you to my board. My board will handle this. My Executive board will take care of this right now; I’m going to hold on to the peace that was given to me, not by the world, by the peace given by my Heavenly Father.

Hello, can I get an Amen? I’m telling you right now the enemy is not happy with the way your life is going because you are exactly where you need to be. God is doing tremendous things in your life. And all you have to do is hold on to your peace. And let your executive board take care of a E V E R Y thing else. You have a kingdom business, let your business look like the kingdom. The kingdom is about order, the kingdom is about timing. I am actually working on an amazing book. I cannot give you a title yet because it’s pretty, pretty awesome. But it’s a book about timing. God is a God of time. And there are some promises that have been spoken over your business; over your life, over your relationships, and they are going to come to pass. But there’s timing involved, your business is going to blow up, your business is going to be national and international, global actually. But you need to know that there’s a timing to that thing. There is a timing to the word it will come to pass when God said so. When is the time?

In the meantime, hold on to your peace baby because God’s got you. He’s got your business and he’s got everything that concerns to you. I pray that this quick episode finds you well. I pray that it blesses your whole entire life and restores the peace that God left, that Jesus left you before he left because he’s awesome like that, he’s a giver. That’s why he’s my favorite. But you know that I say that about the Father and the Holy Spirit, all three of them are my favorite. They’re three in one, so I never get in trouble because they’re all my favorite.
